My New Year's Wish...

I don't want to say 'Resolution', but rather 'wish' and maybe even 'hope'...

This February my Baby Boy should be turning 4 years old.

I just realized today that this coming school year in September, he should be starting Kindergarten...

It seems that every time I feel like I have taken a step forward in managing my immeasurable loss, something happens and I fall apart all over again.

My New Year's Wish is to try to live normally with this intense heartbreak and feel like a normal person - not someone living in a nightmare nobody else wants to be in.
Or maybe it is just that I 'hope' to.

But aren't they the same thing?
I find myself wishing and wishing...then hoping...but does that really change anything?

Let's 'hope' it does...

Every 15 Minutes...

Every 15 minutes a baby is born with a congenital heart defect. 4000 of them will not live to celebrate their 1st birthdays with their families... How are there so many babies dying from this and there is so little awareness? Have you spread the word today? CHD Awareness is the first step to saving lives with more research and funding. ♥
